The film »sat.land« combines high resolution satellite images from different parts of the world. It starts with a smooth, animated flight over sublime landscapes in Afghanistan and Iraq. Whilst the soundscape dramatically intensifies: tiny aircrafts cross, and cars drive by – far below on roads and highways. In the midst of Los Angeles something goes wrong...
